Our Story
Education4kids was founded by Djenabu Baldé, whose journey began with a deeply personal moment.
While living in the UK, Djenabu discovered that her mother — visiting from Guinea-Bissau — had never learned to write. That realisation inspired her to take action so that no child would face the same barriers to education.
What started with helping just two children quickly grew into a movement that has now supported over 500 children across Guinea-Bissau.
Education4kids continues to expand, driven by the belief that education can transform lives and communities.

Our Story
Our Story
Education4Kids was born from a powerful moment of realisation.
When our founder, Djenabu Baldé, discovered that her mother had never been able to attend school, it became her mission to ensure no child would face the same barrier.
What began by helping two children has grown into an organisation supporting over 500 children across Guinea-Bissau.
Our Mission
To empower children in Guinea-Bissau by providing access to quality education that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.
We are committed to creating inclusive learning environments that nurture potential and support social and economic development within local communities.
Our Vision
We envision a future where every child in Guinea-Bissau can thrive through education.
A future where knowledge and opportunity break the cycle of poverty and inspire a new generation of leaders and changemakers.
We've officially launched!
