About Us
Djenabu Baldé was born in Guinea-Bissau and grew up in Lisbon, Portugal, where she early on revealed a deep social awareness and a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit. After completing secondary school, she embarked on a new chapter of her life by moving to London, determined to learn English and broaden her personal and professional horizons. With dedication and perseverance, Djenabu earned a degree in Business Management while balancing her studies with professional work.
For seven years, she served as a staff assistant for Delaware North in prestigious stadiums such as Wembley and Emirates (Arsenal), where she developed key skills in organisation, leadership, and team management, while engaging with professionals from diverse industries.
Her passion for helping others led her to volunteer work, where she served as an inspiring mentor at St. Patrick’s College, guiding young students to realise their academic and professional potential.
Professionally, Djenabu has gained experience across multiple sectors, including hospitality and catering, as well as in managerial roles at Totomespeedlink, where she contributed to the company’s growth through innovative strategies and a forward-thinking vision.
She also worked as a Programme Director at G-SEL Network in London and is an active member of Boss Lady, a network that supports Guinean women entrepreneurs in the United Kingdom.
Djenabu’s greatest impact, however, has been through her role as Founder of Education4Kids — an initiative that began with a simple but transformative gesture:
providing scholarships to two children in Guinea-Bissau. The positive change she witnessed inspired her to expand the project, which has since benefited hundreds of children. She has organised a primary school football tournament involving over 500 students across two cities and now leads an ambitious school rehabilitation programme in several regions of the country.
With her heart devoted to education and child welfare, Djenabu Baldé remains committed to expanding access to quality education for more children in the years ahead. Her dedication to social justice, educational equity, and the empowerment of future generations makes her
an active and inspiring voice within the Guinean diaspora.
Determined, visionary, and tireless, Djenabu Baldé continues to build an exemplary legacy — opening doors, touching lives, and proving through her actions that changing the world begins with a single gesture. Her impact has been recognised internationally, including being honoured for her outstanding contribution to child education at the World Leaders Summit at the University of Oxford, Keble College, in England — a prestigious milestone in her career.
In 2025, she was also awarded the NôBalur Award – Guineans Who Inspire in the Diaspora. Currently, Djenabu offers consultancy services to Guinean communities, supporting initiatives that promote education, empowerment, and sustainable development.
